Original Dice is a simple prediction game where you forecast whether a roll will land above or below a number you pick. The appeal is straightforward—you choose your target, call OVER or UNDER, and the game calculates what your odds are worth in real money. It's built by Bethropic and runs on provably fair mechanics, so you can verify every result yourself using the seed data shown after each round.

How it works
A roll returns a number from 0.01 to 99.99, uniform in steps of 1/9999. OVER wins when the roll is above your target, UNDER when it is below. The payout is the fair price of your win chance, rounded down to two decimals.
The part most players overlook is how the payout actually works. The game doesn't offer fixed odds; instead it pays out based on the mathematical probability of your bet winning, rounded down. This sounds fair in theory, but it means you're always fighting a small edge. Picking a target near the middle (like OVER 50.5) feels safe at 2.00× because your win chance is close to fifty-fifty, but that 49.49% chance means the house keeps a margin. Chase longer odds and the payout shrinks faster than your odds improve—OVER 99.00 pays 99.00× but hits in less than one roll per hundred.
The odds behind it
- OVER 50.5 pays 2.00× at a 49.49% win chance.
- UNDER 50 pays 1.98×.
- OVER 99.00 pays 99.00× at a 0.99% win chance — the highest the game offers.
When the sheet shows OVER 50.5 at 49.49% and 2.00×, it means roughly half your rolls will win and half will lose over time, but you'll see 2.00 times your stake back when you win, not 2.01. The 99% return to player figure bakes this in across all your bets—it's what the game keeps mathematically over thousands of rounds. The 99.00× multiplier on the longest odds is real, but it's the ceiling, and your actual stake may not reach it due to per-coin profit caps that sit above individual bets.
Fair by design
- Every round is provably fair: the outcome comes from a server seed, your client seed and a nonce, all shown with the round so you can check the result was fixed before the bet. You can rotate your seed at any time.
- A 0 bet is always allowed, so every original game can be played for free.
- Bet limits are set per coin rather than per game — the same minimum and maximum apply across the originals.

Payouts settle within the per-coin maximum profit cap, so the headline multiplier is the ceiling of the game, not of a single bet.
