Mines is a click-and-reveal game where you choose how many hidden mines to place on a grid of twenty-five tiles, then open them one at a time to build a multiplier. Each safe tile you uncover increases your payout, but hitting a mine ends the round immediately. The appeal lies in the decision at every step: push further for a bigger multiplier, or cash out with what you have locked in.

How it works
Open tiles one at a time. Every safe tile raises your multiplier; one mine ends the round. Cash out any time after the first tile, or clear every safe tile to settle automatically.
The trap most players fall into is treating every setup as equally likely to pay out. Your choice of how many mines to place fundamentally changes the odds of each tile being safe or dangerous. A board with only one mine offers different probabilities and payouts than one with twenty-four, and the multiplier values are calibrated accordingly. You need to think about what frequency of wins versus size of wins actually suits your play.
What it pays
| Mines · tiles opened | Payout | Mines · tiles opened | Payout |
|---|---|---|---|
| 3 · 1 | 1.11× | 10 · 3 | 4.99× |
| 3 · 3 | 1.47× | 24 · 1 | 24.75× |
| 5 · 5 | 3.38× | 1 · 24 | 24.75× |
The return to player figure shown on the sheet shifts depending on the mine count and how many tiles you open—it is not fixed across all setups. Payouts like 1.11× for opening one tile with three mines, or 24.75× for clearing a board with only one mine, show what the game returns on average under those specific conditions. These figures represent the long-run math; individual rounds will always either win or lose, and any single session can easily land above or below the stated percentage.
Fair by design
- Every round is provably fair: the outcome comes from a server seed, your client seed and a nonce, all shown with the round so you can check the result was fixed before the bet. You can rotate your seed at any time.
- A 0 bet is always allowed, so every original game can be played for free.
- Bet limits are set per coin rather than per game — the same minimum and maximum apply across the originals.

Payouts settle within the per-coin maximum profit cap, so the headline multiplier is the ceiling of the game, not of a single bet.
