How it works
Each round draws a crash multiplier. You win if it lands at or above the target you set. Aiming higher pays more and hits less often, in exact proportion.
The mechanic that catches players out is mistaking consistency for advantage. The return stays at ninety-nine percent no matter what target you pick, so aiming for a doubled multiplier versus a hundredfold one doesn't change what the game gives back over time. It only changes how many rounds you win and lose. Chasing higher targets means longer dry spells between wins. That psychological weight is real even though the math is neutral.
The odds behind it
- The chance of reaching a target t is about 0.99 ÷ t.
- Target 2.00 hits 49.5% of rounds, target 10 hits 9.9%, target 100 hits 0.99%.
The odds work like this: a target of two hits roughly half the time, ten hits roughly once in every ten rounds, and a hundred hits roughly once in every hundred. The pattern holds all the way up—as the target climbs, the hit rate falls in lockstep with the payout. There's no sweet spot that beats the house edge. A target of one thousand pays a thousand times your stake on the rare rounds it lands, but you should expect to see it roughly once per thousand rounds, accounting for the house edge built into the ninety-nine percent return.
