Baccarat on Bethropic: payouts for all five spots, true odds with independent draws, and the third-card rule

Bethropic's Baccarat is the classic Player versus Banker comparison with two side bets, Player Pair and Banker Pair, and you can bet several spots in one round. The drawing rules are standard; the deck model is not, and that changes the maths slightly.

Payouts and odds

SpotPaysWin chanceRTP
Player44.62%98.77%
Banker1.95×45.84%98.94%
Tie9.54%85.88%
Player Pair12×7.69%92.31%
Banker Pair12×7.69%92.31%

Payouts are total return multipliers: a winning 1-unit Player bet returns 2 units. When the round is a tie, Player and Banker bets are returned (push). Banker pays 1.95× because it wins slightly more often; the 5% trim on Banker wins is the house edge on that spot.

How the cards are drawn

Each of the up to six cards is drawn independently from a full 52-card deck, with replacement. There is no eight-deck shoe and no card counting angle: the composition never changes from card to card. A pair is therefore exactly a 1-in-13 event (12× pays 92.31%), and the Player, Banker and Tie probabilities above are computed on the same independent-draw model.

Third-card rule

Naturals (8 or 9 on the first two cards) end the hand. Otherwise Player draws on 0 to 5 and stands on 6 or 7; Banker's third card depends on its own total and on Player's third card, following the standard tableau. You do not make any decision after betting; the draw is automatic, which is why the odds are fixed.

Which spots to play

  • Banker and Player return close to 99% and are the only spots worth a steady stake.
  • Tie pays 9× on a 9.54% event and returns under 86%. It is the most expensive bet on the table.
  • Pairs pay 12× on a 7.69% event and return 92.31%. Fun as a side bet, poor as a main bet.

The result strip shows the winner and your net profit per round, and the road maps (bead plate, big road and the derived roads) track the shoe history for pattern watchers. Patterns do not change the odds of the next hand under independent draws, but they are part of the game's culture and the boards are there for you.

Limits and verification

Limits and the maximum profit cap are per coin, shown after login, and apply to the sum of your spots. Zero-amount rounds are allowed. The six cards come from the server seed, your client seed and the nonce, with the hash shown before the deal.
