Mohegan Sun, a large casino and entertainment complex located in Uncasville, Connecticut, has just become the site of another major jackpot win. As it turns out, two sisters visiting the resort will now share a prize of over a million dollars.
Mohegan Sun Visitors Win Over a Million Dollars
According to Mohegan Sun, two lucky players secured an amazing, life-changing payout of $1,025,913.22 while enjoying one of the property’s slot machines. The win came from a Dragon Link machine and was scored thanks to the game’s Hold & Win feature.
As it turns out, the two players were sisters from Lake Peekskill, New York. The jackpot’s cheque officially credits one of the women, referred to as AGR, as the winner. A photo of the happy moment shows that the win happened on October 16, 2026.
Mohegan Sun officials congratulated the two women. In an official Facebook post, the casino invited others to applaud the winners, saying:
Join us in congratulating our two lucky winners that hit this HUGE $1,025,913.22 jackpot on one of our Dragon Link machines!
Mohegan Sun statement
In the comments, many players congratulated the sisters on their success, with one user even jokingly asking whether they are single. More interestingly, one Facebook commenter noted that the win seems to have happened in the casino’s high-roller section.
Another user claimed that the machine in question has awarded three prizes of over a million dollars in 2026 alone. A different commenter claimed that the machine has been temporarily shut down since the win.
Mohegan Sun Is the Home of Many Big Wins
Several days ago, Mohegan Sun reported another big win as a lucky guest hit a $560,898 progressive jackpot playing Ultimate Texas Hold’em. The player in question won the mouth-watering sum with a Royal Flush of Spades.
Earlier this year, even more Mohegan Sun jackpots happened. In August, GamblingNews reported several such wins, including a $400K payout won thanks to a five-card Royal Flush.
