Womanizer, a global brand specializing in sex toys,
announced on the 3rd the results of a survey on masturbation frequency conducted on 6,000 adults aged 18 and over from 12 countries including the US, Germany, and Korea. The average gap in masturbation frequency between men and women across 12 countries was 68%, but Korea showed the smallest gap at 34%, among the surveyed countries.
Why is this? Womanizer explained it as an "exceptional figure resulting from the exceptionally low absolute masturbation frequency of Korean men."
According to the survey results, Korean men's annual masturbation frequency is 82 times, which is half the average of 154 times for men across 12 countries.
It's also relatively low among Asian countries.
Hong Kong men recorded 119 times, Singapore men 136 times, and Taiwan men 139 times.
